- Grand Theft Auto V @ 1080p FHD/Ultra. The GTA flight test had the RX6600 XT fluctuate between 120 – 135 fps, while the Xbox Series X struggled at 78 – 100fps. The GTA drive test showed similar results, with the Xbox Series X GPU lagging behind by 25 – 30 fps.
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey @ 1080p FHD/Ultra. The RX6600 XT and Xbox Series X performed similarly, averaging 68 and 80 fps. However, the Xbox Series X stayed ahead most of the way with 5 – 8 more frames.
Overall, the benchmark shows that the RX6600 XT performs better when there’s a lot of quick graphical demand, like with Doom Eternal and GTA V.
When there’s a lot of world detail, like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the Xbox Series X GPU pulls ahead slightly.

When running the Benchmark tests for the RTX2080 Ti & Xbox Series X GPUs, each one had a sizeable frame advantage over the other for certain games. The tests involved:
- Doom Eternal @ 2160p 4k UHD. The RTX2080 remained ahead with a stable average of 140 – 160fps, while the Xbox Series X GPU fluctuated between an average of 100 – 144fps.
- Cyberpunk 2077 @ 2160p 4K UHD. Both GPUs remained between a stable 62 – 68 fps, with minor frame differences of 2 – 6 frames.
- Red Dead Redemption 2 @ 2160p 4K UHD. Both GPUs were stable at around 65 – 75 frames, with the Xbox Series X GPU averaging 10 – 12 frames more than the RTX2080.
- Grand Theft Auto V @ 2160p 4K UHD. The RTX2080 held a high, stable fps around 130 throughout the benchmark, while the Xbox Series X GPU dipped very low, meeting the RTX2080 for a brief moment, but never quite reaching the same high frame rates – it averaged at around 100 frames.
Results showed that both GPUs measured pretty evenly, with fluctuating frames placing the RTX2080 Ti at higher frames in certain areas but lower frames than the Xbox Series X in others. On average, frame differences measured between 5 – 15 frames for the two GPUs. (Of course, the Xbox Series X outperforms RTX 2060 and RTX 2070).
